US to take away outsourcing jobs?

outsourcing

While the president of United States, Donald Trump is making decisive moves to stop companies from going out of the country and encouraging them to expand business there, it is apparently turning out to be a big stroke at Indian companies and employees too.

Several Tech giants and other companies from America usually spend a substantial chunk of money in outsourcing their work to Indian IT firms like Infosys, TCS, Cap Gemini, Cognizant and others. Also, the under-lying fact that our companies will manage to furnish the projects at a lesser cost and large amount of man power with a better performance is what makes US companies to rely more on India.

While Trump is targeting H1-B visa holders in a direct way, US Congress members David McKinley (Republican Party) and Green (Democratic Party) have jointly introduced a bill to eliminate outsourcing. Although bill involves all the countries, it is majorly aimed at stopping outsourcing to Indian companies.

In numbers, US projects outsource 1.45crore of jobs across the world and 75.29 lakhs of unemployed till December 2016. If America manage to hold all those jobs, it will not just eradicate the unemployment but also provide full-time jobs to those who’re working part-time.
