What makes a film bigger at the box office these days? Definitely not the content alone, but the way the makers promote it and place it in theatres matters a lot.
In the recent times, we have seen Rajnikanth’s Kabali making the most out of promotions as the film amassed nearly 300 crores gross at the box office even though it got flop talk with the morning show. And now, Kabali formula is being followed by Powerstar Pawan Kalyan as well.
For #PSPK25, which is titled as Agnathavasi, we hear that director Trivikram and producer S Radhakrishna are leaving no stone unturned when it comes to promotions. Firstly they are said to be tying up with a mobile manufacturing brand to make sure that nearly 50000 new mobile phones that go by the name #PK25 will be released into the market.
Afterwards, they will be focusing on each city, making sure that newest transport marvels like Hyderabad Metro will promote the flick. As per some reports, a couple of metro cabins will be decorated with Agnathavasi theme, in order to promote the movie.
And then, Trivikram wants to mimic want Kabali has done in the air. Actually, Air Asia has got two of its flights to Malaysia decorated with Kabali posters on the outside of the place earlier. Now, Agnathavasi is said to be eyeing similar flight promotion.
To conclude, we have to say that Pawan Kalyan wants to make sure that this film will have maximum reach and penetration into the audiences as if this is his last film. Many say that recovering the 150 crores pre-release sales amount is the reason for this supposed enormous publicity.
