Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan’s “Praja Yatra” which he commenced in Telangana yesterday, has started an inevitable and interesting discussion in state political circles. Both TS Congress and OU JAC leaders have asserted that Pawan had struck a secret deal with the TRS govt. led by CM KCR. They pointed out that Pawan had met KCR on the New Year eve only to seal the deal. Presumably in his effort to trash these rumors, a TRS leader has sort of insulted the Jana Sena chief.
TRS spokesman and MLC Karne Prabhakar, a confidante of KCR, addressing the media vehemently denied the allegations that his party has struck a secret deal with Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena party.
He allegedly added that TRS considers Pawan only as a ‘seasonal’ politician but not a full-time politician and that the ruling party will have neither benefit by making Jana Sena an alliance nor loss by making it its opposition. “We will only say ‘all the best’ to Pawan if he becomes a full-time politician,” Karne said, reiterating that TRS enjoys public support in Telangana and that they can win elections on their own.
Talking about Pawan Kalyan’s meeting with KCR on the New Year eve, he called it ‘apolitical’. “Pawan met the CM only to seek permission for five shows for his latest film, “Agnyathavasi”. Politics didn’t feature in their meeting at all,” Karne told the media.
Considering that Pawan Kalyan has only praises for KCR whenever he talks about the Telangana CM, a TRS leader allegedly making such comments against the Jana Sena chief has reportedly miffed party cadres. It needs to be seen how Pawan responds.
