By the time the news has already come out that Sridevi’s body is being sent for embalming after which she will be airlifted home, media speculations about the death mystery have reached peaks. With general public requesting and blasting media to stop making a fuss of Sridevi’s death, our celebs also started the campaign now.
A while ago Allu Arjun tweeted, “My Humble request to the media , social platform content providers , and people at large. There is a lot of wrong speculation going on . I request each and every one to respect the dead. Thank you. #LetHerRestInPeace (sic)“. And this hashtag #LetHerRestInPeace went viral in no time with other celebs also joining the chorus.
From Kajal Agarwal to Pragya Jaiswal, Rana Daggubati to Taapsee Pannu, Sumanth to Seerat Kapoor, many celebrities joined in trending the hashtag, demanding the news channels to stop this ‘cruel’ judging of Sridevi’s death. The hashtag campaign kick-started by Allu Arun is now being taken up by many Bollywood celebrities as well.
PS: By the time this campaign is getting trended on Twitter, a leading Telugu news channel’s reporters are still sitting in the bathtub and talking about getting drowned.
