Shiva Rajkumar wrapped up his portions before traveling to the Miami Cancer Institute in the USA for surgery. The movie, which was initially planned for release after Bhairathi Ranagal (the prequel to his 2017 hit Mufti), is now confirmed for release on August 15, 2025.

Although Bhairathi Ranagal was successfully released on November 15, 2024, 45 has faced delays. The film is currently in the post-production stage, with the major delay attributed to the extensive visual effects work required. The Canadian VFX studio MARZ (Monsters Aliens Robots Zombies) is handling the film’s effects, and they are expected to complete their work by May 2025. This timeline will give the filmmakers enough time to review and finalize the visual elements before the release.

Director Arjun Janya shared that 45 includes a 3D motion video, which took a year to create. The story, written by Arjun Janya and Anil Kumar, promises to be an exciting blend of high-quality visual effects and a gripping narrative. The film boasts a stellar cast, including Shiva Rajkumar, Upendra, Raj B. Shetty, Rangayana Raghu, and Kaustuba Mani.
