Suresh Babu is on cloud nine with the stupendous success of Venky Mama that is featuring brother Venkatesh and nephew Naga Chaitanya in the leads. In fact, Suresh is said to be shocked with the super positive collections from all areas. Though Suresh Babu had predicted the film’s success, he didn’t expect that the film would turn off such big hit.
Surpassing everyone’s expectations, Venky Mama off to a flying start since Day 1 and it has registered solid BO collections. Producer-distributor-studio owner Suresh Babu is elated that the movie has earned a distributor share of Rs 20 Crore in four days in AP and Telangana alone. This is a welcome development for producers of Venky Mama who erupted into celebrations.
Venky Mama is a prestigious project taken up by Suresh Productions. It is a dream project of late Ramanaidu and hence, there was onus on Suresh Babu to make it a successful venture. Since this is their first production with Naga Chaitanya (Menalludu), it is crucial for Suresh Babu and Venkatesh as well to deliver the success.
At one point during the mid-production, there were rumours that Suresh Babu was not quite happy with the progress of the film. It was rumoured that Suresh Babu had also criticised the team for shooting up the budget. Amidst this, Suresh Babu was a bit tensed about the film right ahead of its release. But the film’s success has given huge relief to Suresh Babu and the Venky Mama team. Both producers Suresh Babu and TG Vishwa Prasad are laughing all the way to the bank.
