Of late Red movie producer Sravanthi Ravi Kishore has declared that Ram starrer ‘Red’ will be postponed from the planned date of release in view of pandemic situation.
If the sources are to be trusted, the producer is now eyeing to make ‘Red’ as a pan India project and wanted to see Ram garnering nation wide attention with this film. He wants to release the flick in multiple languages on the same date.
In originality, Red is based on a Tamil film and releasing dubbed version once again to the same Tamil audience seemed nonsensical and funny to the sources. Ram indeed has a good fan following in Telugu states, but producer striving for pan India appears to be a big joke. The actor also dearly called as RAPO by his fans has proven his mettle with Ismart Shankar, however with recent trolls for his involvement in political mud slinging has maligned his image to some extent.
Few believe this has already effected his market in Telugu industry and reportedly he has very less fan following in other states. On top of that, releasing Red movie as a pan India project could probably incur losses to the producer during this time. What do you say? It is to be waited to see if the actor could make a good comeback.
