Maverick director has a typical style of filmmaking which created a huge trend back in those days. But he never changed according to the trend and stuck to his own style. While he gained a huge fanbase for his kind of films, a lot of current generation people have disconnected from his films. Moreover, RGV is making films on famous personalities and is trying to make money out of the controversies created.
Another such attempt is his upcoming film ‘Kondaa’. The second trailer of the movie was released a while ago and it is as expected. The frames, lighting, editing, voiceover and everything remind people of Ram Gopal Varma’s previous films like ‘Rakta Charitra’, ‘Vangaveeti’ and many others. The movie is made on the story of Konda Murali and Konda Surekha who are in the Congress party right now. Varma showcases their journey right from their youth days, their love story, connection to Naxalism and other aspects. There is a lot of blood and violence in this film. The fights are brutal and in the midst of everything, Varma decided to showcase the romance between the lead couple. ‘Kondaa’ is sure to create a lot of buzz and controversies too.
The performances of the lead actors are on point. They deliver what is expected of them. Cast members which include Thrigun, Irra Mor, Prudhvi Raj, Ram Prasad, Tulasi, LB Sriram and a few others. Directed by Ram Gopal Varma, DSR is the music director. Joshi Malahabarat is the director of photography while Manish Thakur is the editor. Anand provided the background score. Sushmitha Patel is the producer of this movie. This movie is set for a grand release on June 23rd.
