Darshan’s latest film The Devil released on Thursday across Karnataka and opened to massive crowds. Early morning shows registered strong occupancy, with several theatres reporting houseful status. Despite increased ticket prices, fans turned up in large numbers, proving that Darshan’s stardom remains intact even amid ongoing controversies.
However, there is a major twist: no one is allowed to post ratings or reviews for The Devil. Following an appeal from the makers, the team secured a court order restricting all online reviews, ratings, and comments. As a result, platforms like BookMyShow have disabled the rating feature for this film. The makers reportedly want to prevent negative or misleading comments during the crucial opening days.
