Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan was all smiles in Hyderabad, deeply moved by the thunderous cheers of Jr NTR’s fans at the War 2 promotional event. Opening his speech with a heartfelt, “Andhariki Namaskaram… Ellā unnāru?”, Hrithik charmed the crowd further, saying, “For fans, NTR is ‘anna’ (elder brother), but for me, he is ‘thammudu’ (younger brother). We are like family.” The audience erupted with joy at his words.

Recalling fond memories, Hrithik shared, “Years ago, I shot in Hyderabad for Krrish and was touched by the warmth of the people. Returning for War 2 feels just as special.” Speaking about his camaraderie with NTR, he said, “We began as co-stars and became brothers for life. Please continue loving NTR — he truly deserves it.”

Calling War 2 one of the biggest highlights of his 25-year career, Hrithik compared the love he received for Kabir in War 1 to his iconic roles in Krrish, Dhoom 2, and Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai. He lauded NTR’s dedication during grueling action scenes, revealing, “Even when injured, he gave his 100%. That inspired me to push harder. This will be an unmissable movie for cinema lovers.”

Highlighting their similarities, Hrithik remarked, “I see a lot of myself in Tarak, and I think he sees some of me in him. He is a ‘one-take-final-take’ star. I’ve learnt from him to never settle for 99%, always give 100%.” Wrapping up with a smile, Hrithik added, “I also love NTR’s homemade biryani — he’s one of the best chefs I know!”
