Naveen Patnaik Completes 24 Years as Odisha CM | Special Story

After delivering the blockbuster Major, superstar Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar are once again backing an intriguing project. Their latest collaboration is Rao Bahadur, starring Satya Dev in the lead and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Venkatesh Maha, known for critically praised films like C/O Kancharapalem and Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya.

The film is jointly produced by A+S Movies and SriChakraas Entertainments, with GMB Entertainment teaming up with A+S Movies again after their successful partnership on Major. SriChakraas Entertainments also previously delivered the hit KA.

Alongside the title reveal, the makers unveiled a captivating first-look poster that instantly grabbed attention. Satya Dev undergoes a striking transformation, appearing as an elderly man with a thick handlebar mustache, bold eyebrows, and a stern expression, radiating an air of royalty. His elaborate costume, adorned with peacock feathers and ornate vine patterns, enhances the regal vibe. Adding a whimsical twist, miniature children can be seen in the poster, playfully scattered around the frame.

A psychological drama exploring the decay of aristocratic heritage, Rao Bahadur promises an intense dive into the unraveling psyche of its central character. The film features music by Smaran Sai, cinematography by Kartik Parmar, and production design by Rohan Singh.

Slated for a global release in summer 2026, Rao Bahadur is shaping up to be an artistic and emotionally gripping cinematic experience.
