The Malayalam cinema icon Mohanlal has taken on the role of both director and lead actor for his highly anticipated film Barroz 3D. Produced under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas by Antony Perumbavoor, this film is set to take audiences on a grand fantasy adventure. The movie which is a 3D fantasy drama has already created a huge buzz with its promotional content setting high expectations for its release.

Barroz 3D is releasing on December 25 as a special Christmas treat, and the Telugu version of the film is being distributed grandly by Mythri Movie Makers. During the pre-release press meet, Mohanlal expressed his excitement about the project and his longstanding association with the film industry. He shared his gratitude for the love and support he’s received over the years and revealed that directing Barroz 3D was a dream come true for him.

“This is a 3D film, created with a native approach to 3D filmmaking. No one has attempted a movie in this format in the last 40 years. It’s a children-friendly film, designed for both young and adult audiences to enjoy,” said Mohanlal. He emphasized that the film celebrates the child within everyone and brings a fresh approach to storytelling.

The movie features exceptional visuals, with renowned cinematographer Santosh Sivan working on the project. Mohanlal also mentioned his long-time friend Rajeev Kumar, who contributed to the technical aspects of the film, and music composer Lydian Nadhaswaram, whose pure and innocent music enhances the film’s charm.

Mohanlal expressed his joy in associating with Mythri Movie Makers, the team behind successful films like Janatha Garage. He praised their vision and passion for the film, ensuring that Barroz 3D will be an unforgettable family film that audiences will love. He is confident that the film’s grand visuals and engaging storyline will captivate global audiences.

Creative Head TK Rajeev Kumar also shared his enthusiasm for the film. “Mohanlal has done a phenomenal job, combining 3D, animation, and VFX to create an immersive cinematic experience. The film promises to offer something new and exciting,” he said.
