Pushpa 2 is currently on a rollicking run at the box office as the makers stated that the film has collected ₹1500 crore gross at the global box office till now. The film is holding its own at the worldwide markets and returning decent revenues, even in the third weekend.

Coming to the topic. Now the makers of this intense action drama are said to be contemplating the idea of adding additional footage to the final copy that is running in theatres.

Apparently, there is 15 minutes of additional deleted footage from the film that could be attached to the running copy. If that is the case, then the runtime of Pushpa 2 will be increased by further 15 minutes.

This film already has a runtime of three hours 20 minutes and once the additional footage is added to the final copy, then the accumulated final runtime will be three hours 35 minutes. This will be one of the longest cinema projections in the history of Indian cinema.

Apparently, the idea is to screen the additional footage from January 1, and related arrangements are being made now. If this deleted additional footage is added to the final copy, then the film could see a small zest in additional footfalls as people could be curious to watch what is added to the film.

There is no official communication to this regard till now, and we have to wait and see how things pan out now. For now, the film is holding pretty well in the domestic Telugu and Hindi markets along with the overseas belts.
