The highly anticipated film “Pushpa 2: The Rule” has become embroiled in release date uncertainty. Initially slated for an August 15th release, the project now faces a potential postponement.
This news comes despite official announcements confirming the August 15th date and promotional activities already underway. Further muddying the waters are the recent announcements by “Double Ismart” and the Hindi film “Stree 2,” both claiming the same release date.
While official confirmation regarding “Pushpa 2″s postponement is still pending, December is emerging as a possible alternative. However, this timeframe presents its own challenges. September, October, and November are already packed with major releases like “OG,” “Devara,” and “NBK109,” leaving December as the next viable window.
However, December releases pose another dilemma. Nithiin’s “Robinhood” and Naga Chaitanya’s “Thandel” are scheduled for December 20th, both produced by prominent studios (“Mythri Movie Makers” and Allu Aravind’s “Geetha Arts,” respectively). Should “Pushpa 2” arrive in December, it would necessitate adjustments to avoid a box office clash, particularly within the same production house (“Geetha Arts”). Rumors also suggest Ram Charan’s “Game Changer” might target December, potentially creating a box office showdown between Allu Arjun and Ram Charan.
The ultimate release date for “Pushpa 2” remains to be seen. Negotiations and strategic planning are likely underway to secure a slot that maximizes the film’s potential while minimizing competition. Fans eagerly await official confirmation to mark their calendars for this highly anticipated sequel.

Jr NTR Heats Up Bollywood with War 2 & a Taste of Home
August 7, 2025

As the countdown begins for the release of War 2 on August 14, 2025, Jr NTR is gearing up for his grand entry into Bollywood. The pan-India star, known for his powerful performances and electric dance moves, is now adding another feather to his cap – his Hindi film debut alongside Hrithik Roshan in the Yash Raj Films’ Spy Universe, directed by Ayan Mukerji.
Ahead of the film’s promotions, NTR recently graced the cover of Esquire India for the very first time. In his candid interview, he offered fans a refreshing glimpse into his off-screen world – far away from the arc lights and action sequences.
One surprising revelation? His love for cooking.
Not just a hobby, NTR proudly says he “cooks like a pro.” His kitchen is a space where he unwinds, often preparing meals for his wife, Pranathi, and close friends. Among his favourite dishes to whip up is punugulu – a beloved Telugu snack made from spiced idli or dosa batter, deep-fried to perfection. Served with chutneys and tea, punugulu is a nostalgic treat in many Telugu households, and NTR’s take on it reflects his deep-rooted connection to his culture.
He also enjoys making biryani, proving that his passion for food is as strong as his passion for cinema.
By sharing this lesser-known side of himself, Jr NTR bridges the gap between his larger-than-life screen persona and his grounded, relatable self. As he steps into Bollywood, he brings with him not just star power, but also the warmth of Telugu tradition and personal charm.
Promotions for War 2 kick off tomorrow with an exciting dance-off promo featuring both Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan. The much-anticipated pre-release event is scheduled for this Sunday, setting the stage for what promises to be one of the biggest action spectacles of the year.
