Kannada star Daali Dhananjay, who impressed Telugu audiences with his impactful presence in the Pushpa films, is now set to make waves across India with his upcoming historical epic Halagali. The makers have unveiled a powerful first-look teaser, showcasing Dhananjay as a fearless warrior from the Bedar community of Helagali, renowned for their expertise in guerrilla warfare and resistance against British rule.

The teaser highlights his commanding screen presence and menacing baritone, as he leads a fierce rebellion that terrifies British officers. The intense visuals — including a scene where he throws down the flag to warn colonial rulers — transport viewers straight into the era of British India and the freedom struggle.

Directed by Sukesh DK and produced by Kalyan Chakravarthy Dhoolipalla on a massive scale, Halagali is planned as a two-part saga. With its tagline, “Battle for the weapons,” the film promises high-octane action, technical brilliance, and an uncompromising production vision.

Marking the biggest budget ever for Dhananjay, this Pan-India release will hit screens in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi, aiming to replicate the nationwide success of blockbusters like KGF and Kantara. The team has already completed half of the shoot and is confident about its potential to make history at the box office.
