Actress Mehreen Pirzada is currently going through a dull phase in her career and has not been in the limelight for her film work lately. After delivering hits like F2 and later appearing in Spark, Mehreen has not featured in many projects, leading to a noticeable gap on the professional front.

However, despite her low-key career phase, Mehreen has repeatedly found herself making headlines due to persistent rumours surrounding her personal life, especially her marriage. The latest trigger was a newspaper report that falsely claimed she had married a businessman. This time, the actress chose not to stay silent and reacted strongly, calling out the publication for spreading unverified and misleading information.

Taking to social media, Mehreen expressed her frustration over what she termed as “paid articles” and irresponsible journalism. She wrote that it was disturbing how misinformation could be circulated so casually without accountability, adding that journalism seems to have taken a hit due to such practices.

Putting an end to the rumours, Mehreen made it clear that she is not married and is very much single. She firmly stated that whenever she does decide to get married, she will announce it herself. “I’m not married to anyone. But trust me, when I do decide to, I promise the whole world will know,” she wrote, setting the record straight once and for all.
