Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan needs no introduction. Known for his exceptional acting skills, he has earned a reputation as one of India’s finest actors. While continuing to shine in Bollywood, Aamir has also maintained warm ties with South Indian stars, even making appearances in their films, winning over Southern audiences as well.

Recently, he played a 15-minute cameo in Coolie, starring Rajinikanth and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film, already in theatres, is reportedly impressing audiences.

Apart from guest appearances in South films, Aamir’s latest Bollywood outing Sitare Zameen Par has also been a big success. Interestingly, instead of releasing it on OTT platforms, Aamir made the film available for rent on YouTube—surprising everyone. The film has reportedly grossed over ₹260 crore worldwide.

Speaking at a special screening with soldiers, Aamir revealed his approach to filmmaking:
“I am scared before every film. I’ve gotten used to accepting risky projects, so that fear is always there. But it’s that fear which pushes me to work harder.”
His comments have since gone viral on social media, with many netizens praising his dedication and hard work.

Released on June 20 this year, Sitare Zameen Par is a sports comedy-drama based on the 2018 Spanish film Champions. Produced under the Aamir Khan Productions banner by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit, and directed by R.S. Prasanna, the film stars Aamir alongside Genelia Deshmukh. Made on a budget of ₹65–95 crore, it went on to collect ₹262 crore globally, becoming the third highest-grossing Hindi film of 2024 and the fourth highest-grossing Indian film of the year.

Since August 1, the film has been made available in both Hindi and Telugu for a rental price of ₹100 through the “Aamir Khan Talkies” YouTube channel.
