Kangana Ranaut Slams Bollywood’s “Badtameez” Male Stars
Actress-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut, known for her bold and unfiltered remarks, has once again stirred controversy with her latest statements about the Hindi film industry. In an interview with Hauterrfly, Kangana claimed that many male actors in Bollywood are “badtameez” (impolite) and that the industry is a “dirty and filthy” space, particularly unkind to outsiders.
When asked if she had faced any inappropriate advances from male co-stars, Kangana clarified that while it wasn’t sexual in nature, she avoided working with many of them due to their unprofessional behaviour. She alleged that some heroes would arrive late to sets, act rudely, sideline her, and even assign her smaller caravans.
Kangana further revealed that certain filmmakers filed cases against her for calling out such practices, questioning why she couldn’t simply accept them like “most girls in the industry.” She added that she had spoken about these issues earlier during the MeToo movement, stressing that many aspiring actresses continue to face harassment and casting couch situations in Mumbai.
