Last year in November, hip siren Ileana D’cruz’s “Happy Ending” opposite Saif Ali Khan has released. Shockingly she was offered no single role post that movie in Bollywood. Though she tried her luck in Tollywood again, her efforts went in vain. Finally a year later it seems her prayers are answered.
Finally this spicy Goan lady got a call from Akshay Kumar now, for a project that will be directed by Neeraj Pandey. This director-hero duo has earlier worked on films like Special Chabbis and Baby, and now they turned producers for this new movie titled “Rustom” while a newcomer Tinu Desai will debut as director.
The film revovles around some real life incidents set in 1950s and Ileana will be seen as leading lady in the movie. Another star heroine might play villain if all goes well.
This could be the biggest break Ileana is waiting for, from a long time. While Akshay’s films like Special Chabbis and Baby did nothing to the Hindi career of South hotties like Kajal and Taapsee, we have to see what magical spell he could cast for another southern starlet Ileana now.
