Aamir Khan has recently been spotted with a bulkier frame, sparking speculation that the transformation was for his much-talked-about biopic on Dadasaheb Phalke. However, the actor has now set the record straight.
In an exclusive interaction, Aamir revealed that his weight gain is actually due to a medical condition. “I’ve been dealing with severe migraines for a while, and the treatment involves steroids. Unfortunately, steroids cause weight gain, and I can’t avoid it. But I’ve already begun my diet and workout routine because I need to be fit for my upcoming projects,” he clarified.
When asked if his health issues have been resolved, the actor admitted that doctors are still searching for the root cause. “No, the problem isn’t fully cured yet. The steroids do suppress the headaches, but I can’t stay on them forever. Sometimes it’s tough to diagnose why exactly these things happen. It’s complicated,” Aamir explained.
Despite the challenges, the superstar remains optimistic and focused on returning to his best shape for the big screen.
