Mr.Prefect Aamir Khan out of the blue commented over the Central Government and growing intolerance in India. Aamir has initially been the Ad campaigner for governments PSA on “Athidhi Devo Bhava” as part of Incredible India but yesterday he on a Public forum said that his Wife was scared of their Child’s future and asked him if they should leave India? He further said it’s important for those in power to strongly condemn the acts. He spoke in support of Award Wapasi saying each one has their own way of protesting.
This provoked a lot of controversy in India. From BJP leaders to Anupam Kher to a common Man. Lot of them suggested that “Exception cannot be made a rule” that is one mishap in a country cannot be attributed to the whole of this nation. While Anupam Kher voiced it strong on Twitter, He has a few questions to Aamir that were well received by the nation.
Anupam Kher gave his piece of mind to Aamir, They infact reflected minds of many Indian’s. Kher asked Aamir if he at all told Kiran Rao (his wife) that this is the country that made him and he asked for Aamir to find out which country Kiran liked to move out to? In an other tweet he said “Did you tell Kiran that you have lived through much worse times in this country and never thought of moving out.” He also asked Aamir if he was asking 2 crore Indian population to leave this country too and When did Incredible India change to Intolerant India?”
