After reigning Tollywood for several years in the early 2000s, the beautiful Gujarati girl Aarti Agarwal lost her shine with continuous flops. Failures took a toll on her as she started to pile up extra kilos on her body. Recently, Aarti underwent a liposuction surgery at an American hospital, where complications developed in the surgery and Aarti breathed her last due to a cardiac arrest.
While Aarti’s sudden demise shook the entire film industry off its feet, her death also reminded of the grave consequences of surgeries and cosmetic jobs that go wrong. It is an open secret that most of the heroines, few heroes and numerous people from all walks of life go under the knife to correct their naturally acquired features and replace them with plastic, designer features.
Liposuction is undoubtedly the most preferred surgery of all methods to lose weight since people resort to the quickest way to shed their overweight. However, the surgery has its pros and cons and if not done under the supervision of an expert, things can go terribly wrong just like in Aarti case.
Recently, a Hyderabadi youth who was preparing to fly for the US for higher studies lost his life when the liposuction surgery went wrong at a city hospital. An Ecuador model and a Brazilian beauty queen too met with the similar fate.
Complications in liposuction surgeries may arise among highly obese patients, while the excess fat is removed from their body and when the body fluids come down drastically, leading to high blood pressure and then cardiac arrests eventually.
Ideally, obese people with their Body Mass Index (BMI) under 30 may go for a liposuction surgery without any future complications. In a few cases, dangers may arise even after a successful liposuction, in the form of infections to intestines.
