Encouraging change, she urged women to stop downplaying themselves and to confidently own their achievements. “You deserve to take up the space you have earned. Credit is not a bad word. Ambition is not a character flaw,” she said, adding that accepting compliments with a simple “thank you” is not arrogance, but self-respect.

She also expressed her vision for the future of cinema, hoping that women-led stories will no longer be treated as a separate category or a risk. Instead, she wants them to be seen simply as stories—without labels or bias.

Samantha further emphasized the importance of portraying women on screen in a more authentic and layered way, reflecting their real-life complexity rather than limiting them to supporting roles. She also spoke about equality behind the scenes, saying that women negotiating contracts should become a normal, unremarkable occurrence rather than headline news.

On safety in the industry, she stressed that it should be a basic standard rather than an occasional discussion. Meanwhile, on the work front, Samantha is currently focused on upcoming projects like Maa Inti Bangaram and Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom.
