Exactly 20 days after stepping down as CEO of global management consulting and professional services firm Accenture, the company’s former chairman Pierre Nanterme passed away due to ill health. He was 59.
Citing health reasons, Pierre resigned as CEO and chairman of the company on 11th January, 2019 after serving for last 36 years. Today, Accenture is one of the leading IT giant and it has got employees all over the globe.
Pierre, who joined the company in 1983, was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2016. After his exit, the company appointed its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) David Rowland as interim CEO.
