Actress Kalpika Ganesh has made headlines after her father filed a police complaint seeking help regarding her health condition. In his statement, he revealed that Kalpika has been battling a mental health disorder and, as a result, has been posing a threat to her family by frequently getting into conflicts at home.
He further disclosed that the actress had attempted suicide twice in the past and had undergone treatment at a rehabilitation center. However, she has reportedly stopped taking her prescribed medication, leading to erratic behavior in public and creating disturbances for others.
Recently, Kalpika was involved in an altercation at a Hyderabad pub during her birthday celebrations. According to reports, she refused to clear the bill and argued with the staff over a complimentary cake, an incident that went viral and attracted heavy criticism from netizens.
Kalpika Ganesh gained recognition with Ram Charan and Genelia’s film Orange and has since appeared in films like HIT: The First Case, Padi Padi Leche Manasu, and Yashoda.
