Popular TV actress Vaishali Takkar who shot to super fame with shows like ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ and others was found dead at her residence. After the news broke out there were many doubts about the reason behind the death. Many doubted that there could be a suicide angle.
The police investigation is said to have found a breakthrough as the suicide note was found reportedly. In the suicide note, the actress named her neighbor as the reason and maintained that she has been harassed by the neighbor and unable to take it she is quitting.
In the note, the popular actress reportedly said neighbour Rahul Navlani has been harassing her, and taking the advantage of her friendship he reportedly took her pictures and sent them to her fiance which led to the breaking of the marriage.
Saying that she is quitting, she reportedly requested her family to not leave Rahul Navlani who harassed her to the point that she was forced to take the extreme step. Based on this, Rahul Navlani and his wife were arrested by the investigation officers and further probe is on.
The recent incident once again shed light on how crimes or attacks against women come from close quarters. In Vaishali Takkar’s case, the main accused is her neighbour who is also her friend. But he took the wrong advantage of the friendship which is a different story.
There is a debate in the case that the actress would have been alive if she would have taken the courage and informed her parents of the alleged harassment. Instead of requesting them to not leave the accused in her suicide note, she could have informed it earlier.
In many cases, victims don’t share the horrific incidents they faced with their parents. If the incidents are shared the family can take the required measures and the accused can be arrested.
Due to various reasons, the victims won’t prefer talking to their parents or families in such incidents. If they cannot tell what happened to them to their parents, then with whom they can share all this is the question here.
