In yesteryear era, heroes used to invite senior directors and producers for their audio launch events as to show their gratitude towards them.Of late, Tollywood is divided into different groups and only actors from their compound are invited for film related events.
Surprisingly, superstars like Jr NTR and Ram Charan are invited for Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu pre-release function to be held on 7th of this month at LB Stadium in Hyderabad. While NTR has given his nod to grace the occasion, makers are still waiting for green signal from Ram Charan who is presently busy promoting his film Rangasthalam.
This is never seen before context because for the first time star heroes are coming for other superstar’s film event. Actually, it is a good changeover for industry and will send a positive message that there are no ego clashes between superstars in Tollywood. However, there’s also a negative perspective of this.
Well, the big question being puzzled is who actually invited NTR for BAN event. While Mahesh Babu fans claim, it was director Koratala Siva who requested NTR to make his presence for the function, others say Mahesh Babu personally called NTR to grace it. This indeed has become a big discussion point among various fans factions in social platforms.
While back to back disasters in the form of Brahmotsavam and Spyder certainly take a toll on the goodwill of Mahesh Babu among the distribution circuit, an interesting point raised by anti-fans is Mahesh lost all his charm with his flop streak, so he has invited his colleagues for the function.According to them, Mahesh’s strategy is presence of other superstar will at least help him to stop spreading any negativism post release of his film.
Moreover, Mahesh Babu at this point of time needs additional backing as to grab complete attention of media and other fans groups as to make his film BAN a much bigger hit than his previous blockbusters.Everyone has their own views. But, we need to wait till release of Bharat Ane Nenu as to know how NTR’s presence will affect the film’s prospects.
