After Red and Blue Books, Jagan Plans Digital Complaint App

Former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is often criticized for the way TDP and Jana Sena supporters were treated during his YSRCP regime, now finds himself on the other side of the equation. With YSRCP out of power, it is the party’s own cadre that is feeling the heat, and Jagan appears to be rattled by the changing political climate.

In a surprising move, Jagan — who once mocked the idea of a “Red Book” — first asked his party workers to maintain a “Blue Book,” and has now announced a complete shift to a digital platform. He revealed that the party will soon launch a mobile application designed as a digital complaints library.

According to Jagan, YSRCP workers will be able to download the app, register complaints against authorities who allegedly harass them on political grounds, and even attach proof to support their claims. He stated that these complaints will be stored in a digital database for future reference.

“Once I become Chief Minister again, I will personally review these complaints and ensure that those responsible are held accountable,” Jagan said, promising action against officials named in the digital records.

However, political observers have expressed concern over this announcement, seeing it as a veiled warning to government officials and police authorities. Critics say such moves could pave the way for future misuse of power if Jagan returns to office.
