Agnathavasi Story ‘Inspired’ From Venky’s Film?

Plagiarism allegations on Trivikram are not new. Even when he is one of the most talented and successful directors in Telugu cinema, Trivikram had to face the heat for lifting the story from novel ‘Meena’ to make his A Aa and not giving the due credit to the original writer.

Many took no time to find similarities between Athadu and Venkatesh’s old film Vaarasudochadu and the latest rumor is that Trivikram once again got heavily inspired from another Venkatesh’s film to make Agnathavasi. Venkatesh’s Ontari Poratam deals with a revenge theme directed by Raghavendra Rao, where Jayasudha avenges with help of Venkatesh. Reports claim that the revenge thread from that film resurfaces in Agnathavasi wherein Khushboo seeks revenge with Pawan’s help.

In the process of retribution, Pawan kalyan reportedly hides his identity and that’s what the title is. Though the film is likely to be a thorough entertainer, vengeance episodes are heard to be highly intense and action part is pictured interestingly. Pawan Kalyan’s role is rather serious like Mahesh’s in Athadu, while the fun and comedy is handled by others around the lead role.
