Despite such a huge fiasco erupting in the news as ‘Agnyaathavaasi’ got labelled as a free-make of French film ‘Largo Winch’, it’s the silence of Haarika and Haasini creations, and director Trivikram, which is actually leaving film lovers in a surprise. Here comes another rumour doing rounds in film circles.
Actually the filmmakers are said to be quite confident that their film isn’t a copy of any, however some Bollywood biggies are said to be insisting on a legal action even if there are a couple of copied scenes. While the Hindi copyright owners requested to give a script copy, it’s being said that Agnyaathavaasi team denied to share it.
But what if Agnyaathavaasi has some scenes copied from Largo Winch? Will the copyright holders demand a fine? Yes, they are likely to ask for some amount and that might be the Hindi Rights of the film as a compensation, says a source. While such settlement will happen only after both parties come to a conclusion, it’s too early to speculate that Hindi Rights are being demanded or offered.
Meanwhile, film folks are eagerly waiting for the release of Agnyaathavaasi trailer that is due for a release tomorrow at 6 pm. If the film has any shades of Largo Winch, then tomorrows trailer will surely clear some air about it.
