Money matters most. It has once again been proved in the case of Andhra Jyothy managing director Vemuri Radhakrishna.A couple of days ago, Andhra Jyothy carried extensive interview with Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on the occasion of the completion of his two years in office and second anniversary of the Telangana formation.
The interview was published in more than three-and-a-half page interview along with graphics, images of KCR and boxes on his government’s achievements. And on Thursday, the same daily carried interview with Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who is also completing two years in the office in another six days. But his interview was given not even one page space – a small part on page-1 and another half a page story inside.
So, why this discrimination? Apparently, Radhakrishna is learnt to have got advertisements worth Rs 3 crore from the Telangana government. On the other hand, Naidu government is not in a position to spend so much money. So, that made all the difference!
