Recently, Akhil Akkineni stepped into a new phase of life by tying the knot with Zainab Rauvji, a Mumbai-based entrepreneur. The wedding was an intimate and low-key affair held at the Akkineni family residence. After the wedding, the couple went on a short honeymoon and have now returned to their routine life.
Wasting no time, Akhil has jumped straight back into work. He is currently shooting for his upcoming film Lenin, which is being directed by Murali Kishor Abburu. Interestingly, the shoot is taking place at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, allowing Akhil to resume work without needing to travel extensively after his honeymoon.
A significant portion of the film has already been shot. However, wedding preparations had temporarily paused the production. During Akhil’s absence, scenes that didn’t require his presence were filmed. Now that he’s back on set, the shoot has picked up momentum. The team is working hard to wrap up the current schedule quickly.
Following this, a portion of the film is expected to be shot abroad, with planning for that schedule already underway. After Lenin, Akhil is reportedly lining up a massive project, and sources from the Akkineni camp suggest that a top star director is being brought on board for it.
Now married and settled, Akhil seems to be approaching his career with renewed focus and confidence. With personal milestones aligning, the Akkineni star is hopeful that this new chapter will bring him both personal and professional success.
