Young and promising hero Akhil Akkineni is gearing up for what could be a game-changing moment in his career. His upcoming film “Lenin” is carrying strong expectations, and the makers marked his birthday with the release of an intense and gripping title glimpse video.
The film is a powerful collaboration between Annapurna Studios and Sithara Entertainments, two of the most reputed production houses in Telugu cinema. Titled Lenin, this is Akhil’s sixth outing and perhaps his most ambitious project to date. The first glimpse was launched by producers Nagarjuna Akkineni and Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, giving fans a peek into the raw and rugged world the film promises to explore.
Directed by Murali Kishor Abburu, known for Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha, Lenin is set in the emotion-charged and gritty backdrop of rural Rayalaseema. The teaser opens with symbolic and divine visuals, before transitioning into powerful frames that establish the film’s serious tone. Akhil impresses with a complete makeover—long hair, a thick mustache, and a raw, intense screen presence. Sree Leela plays the female lead, and her brief glimpse has already piqued audience interest.
Akhil’s impactful dialogue in native Rayalaseema slang—
“Puttetappudu oopiri vuntadhi ra, peru vundadu. Poyetappudu oopiri vundadu, peru matrame vuntadhi,”
—adds a philosophical layer, hinting at a narrative rich in emotion and internal conflict.
This role is going to be remembered for a long time!! 💥

The visuals by Naveen Kumar I are stunning, while Thaman S enhances the mood with a powerful background score. Naveen Nooli handles the editing duties with precision, ensuring a tight narrative structure.
With shooting already underway, Lenin is expected to release either by end of 2025 or in early 2026. For Akhil, this could well be the breakthrough he’s been striving for.
