Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar celebrated his 58th birthday on Tuesday and took to social media to express his heartfelt gratitude to fans for their unwavering support over the last three decades.
Kumar, who has been a part of the film industry for over 34 years and has starred in more than 150 films, shared an Instagram post featuring himself against a backdrop of his movie posters.
“58 years in the making, 34 years in the industry, over 150 films and counting… To everyone that ever believed in me, who bought a ticket, who signed me, who produced me, directed me, and guided me, this is your journey as much as mine. I’m just here to say an eternal ‘Thank You’ for every kind action, unconditional support, and words of encouragement. I am nothing without you—my birthday is a dedication to those that still believe in me.”
Akshay Kumar made his lead role debut with the 1991 film Saugandh and gained widespread recognition with the 1992 hit Khiladi.
The actor is currently gearing up for the release of “Jolly LLB 3”, co-starring Arshad Warsi. Directed by Subhash Kapoor, the third installment of the popular Jolly LLB franchise is slated to hit theaters on September 19.
