The recent objectionable comments made by one of the popular Telugu news channel’s show-host have received a lot of backlash from people on social media. Now, actors and actresses from Tollywood are busy warning the media to show some respect towards the Film Industry.
Actors like Rakul Preet Singh, Nani, Manchu Lakshmi, director Harish Shankar and many others condemned the use of vulgar words and calling many heroines of soliciting. And now, comedian Ali also joined the fray. While his statements grabbed attention, he received a lot of criticism for that ‘flashback’ thing.
Ali stated that he won’t tolerate this kind of cheap statements on women, especially from Tollywood. “As the comments are made by a media personnel, we are staying silent. Otherwise, his hands and legs would have got chopped by now. Media and Celebs should behave like wife and husband, and settle disputes between the four walls. Had he made such comments in neighbouring Tamilnadu or other states, the reactions would have been different”, said Ali.
But people are asking Ali to mind his own words before advising that media guy. If you remember, the actor made some ‘masala’ comments on many actresses and compared Samantha’s waist with Benz Circle in the past. Also, he passed objectionable comments on Anushka’s thighs too.
Social media is buzzing that Ali forgot his past and suddenly turned into the saint and started preaching. Some say the cheap comments made by Ali and others might have inspired folks like that journalist to further degrade Tollywood.
