Kamal Haasan is leaving no stone unturned in promoting his upcoming film Thug Life across multiple languages. Having wrapped up the shoot on schedule, the legendary actor has been fully immersed in promotional activities, showcasing a level of dedication and energy that’s inspiring.
While Kamal is known for supporting all his films through promotions, his approach for Thug Life is on an entirely different level. He’s making appearances everywhere, generating maximum buzz and drawing widespread attention.
At a recent musical event, Kamal stole hearts when he joined a young girl singing “Kanmani.” Sitting down beside her on stage, he sang along and captivated the audience with his heartfelt performance. The endearing gesture won massive appreciation and added a positive buzz around the film.
In another first, Kamal hosted an exclusive interaction with social media influencers from both Tamil Nadu and the Telugu states. The influencers were flown to Chennai for the event, which turned out to be a resounding success. Following this, Kamal traveled to Hyderabad for a special press meet, and sources now suggest that a grand pre-release event is being planned in the city as well.
Addressing the reason behind this aggressive promotion, Kamal clarified that it’s not out of concern for the film’s content. Confidently, he stated that Thug Life will surpass even Nayagan in impact. His goal is to take the film to as many viewers as possible. At 70, Kamal is setting an example, putting in a level of effort that many younger actors struggle to match.
Directed by Mani Ratnam, Thug Life also stars Trisha, Abhirami, Silambarasan (Simbu), and others. The much-awaited film is set for a grand release on June 5th.
