There are many speculations surrounding section 8 implementation in Hyderabad and there was a moment of triumph among the leaders of ruling TDP in AP that this section would indeed be implemented in Hyderabad for their relief but the statements of a Union Minister has dampened the moods.
Union Law Minister Sadananda Gowda has revealed that Home Ministry hasn’t consulted the regarding this issue and there has been no such notification issued in this regard by them. This has somehow cooled the tempers among TRS leaders in Hyderabad over this impending notification.
Also there are reports that Governor has only sought an opinion from Attorney General regarding the same since the political tempers after phone tapping and note for vote scams has risen like never before. Any notice or arrest of Chandrababu would have further deteriorated law & order situation in Hyderabad.
Now AP leaders are on the back foot while some are seething in anger against Centre for making contradictory statements over this issue. There are also fears that prolonged neglecting of AP may not bode well for the future. Hence, everyone is now demanding clarity in highest form from the Centre.
