Film industry is as family-oriented as any other business. In the past only star sons would inundate the industry. Now, the kith and kin of stars are making their entry into the industry.
One such hero who got into films thanks to his interest and thanks to his connections in Tollywood is Sudheer Babu, brother-in-law of Mahesh Babu.
Of course, he did manage to leave his mark on Telugu audiences with Prema Katha Chitram. But his later films were box office duds. So, he has been out of news for some time now. Presently, he is busy with Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarini and the film will release soon.
Incidentally, Nandita is playing his heroine once again.
Meanwhile, there were rumours that he would be doing a film with Mahesh. But not before long, the rumours were squashed and it is being said that it is one of the reasons why his career has gone on back track.
Apparently, there are many reasons for the supposed multi-starrer to take off. But the primary reason is that Mahesh did not budge and risk his name and fame by indulging the whim of his sister’s husband.
If Mahesh were to do a multi-starrer, he would certainly do it with his contemporaries who are equally talented. Also, audiences have huge expectations from his films. Mahesh will not compromise on that surely.
Naturally, if Sudheer Babu was a hit hero, then Mahesh would have surely thought about it. But now, Mahesh can do nothing but wait and watch till his brother-in-law’s career takes off.
If ever Mahesh decides to do a film with Sudheer, it would indeed be the turning point in Sudheer’s career.
