Superstar Allu Arjun has temporarily relocated to Mumbai to begin work on his highly anticipated sci-fi fantasy film, directed by the acclaimed Atlee. Tentatively titled #AA22xA6, the film has commenced principal photography inside a state-of-the-art blue-mat studio equipped with top-notch VFX technology. Given the ambitious three-month schedule, Allu Arjun will be based in Mumbai for the entire shoot.
Director Atlee — known for his blockbuster collaborations with Vijay — has roped in some of Hollywood’s finest technicians to elevate the film’s technical brilliance. The decision to shoot in Mumbai was also influenced by actress Deepika Padukone, one of the leading ladies, who preferred a more accessible location. With the project’s grand scale and heavy visual effects requirements, Mumbai emerged as the perfect choice for the film’s intricate production needs.
Backed by Sun Pictures, the movie is shaping up to be one of the most expensive Indian films ever made, promising to set new standards in spectacle and cinematic scale. Composer Sai Abhyankkar is crafting the soundtrack, and there’s buzz that Mrunal Thakur may also join the star-studded cast.
With its blend of powerhouse talent, high-end VFX, and international standards, #AA22xA6 is gearing up to become a landmark cinematic event that will captivate audiences worldwide.
