Allu Arjun has once again proven his unparalleled stardom in Indian cinema with the success of Pushpa 2. The hype and massive fan following surrounding the film enabled the makers to secure an unprecedented OTT deal.
Netflix reportedly acquired the digital streaming rights for Pushpa 2 for a whopping ₹275 crore, marking the highest-ever price for an Indian film’s digital rights. No other Indian movie has crossed this landmark so far.
There are talks that Netflix might offer over ₹350 crore for the upcoming Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli project GlobeTrotter, although the deal is not yet finalized.
Meanwhile, Netflix has already initiated discussions with Allu Arjun and director Atlee for their next collaboration. The sci-fi drama AA22xA6 starring Allu Arjun and directed by Atlee is expected to surpass the Pushpa 2 record, potentially even exceeding the rumored price of GlobeTrotter.
Industry insiders suggest this could be another milestone for Allu Arjun, further cementing his dominance in the Indian film industry.
