Allu Arjun, a prominent figure in the Telugu film industry, has secured interim relief from the Andhra Pradesh High Court in a case related to alleged violation of the election code of conduct. The case was filed by the Nandyala police against the actor for participating in a political event without proper permission during the recent general elections.
The actor, along with Nandyala Vaikapa Assembly candidate Shilpa Ravichandrakishor Reddy, challenged the charges in court. The court, after considering the arguments presented by both parties, issued an interim order staying further proceedings in the case until November 6.
The controversy arose when Allu Arjun visited Nandyala to support the candidate. His arrival was marked by a grand procession involving heavy vehicles and motorcycles, which did not have the necessary official approvals. This led to the filing of a complaint with the Election Commission and subsequent legal action by the Nandyala Second Town Police.
The court’s interim order provides temporary relief to Allu Arjun and Shilpa Ravichandrakishor Reddy, preventing any further legal action until the next hearing. The final verdict on the case will have significant implications for both individuals and could set a precedent for future cases involving celebrities and political involvement.
