‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ is indeed a memorable for Akhil Akkineni as it had become the first success in his career. With positive talk and good audience response, the romantic comedy entertainer is posting solid numbers at the box office. Making the victory, the movie team had arranged a success meet on Tuesday and Icon star Allu Arjun attended the event as a special guest.
Speaking at the function, Allu Arjun said, “I am happy with the success of the film. Although Akhil dances and fights well, he put them aside and made this film to make a good movie. I respect that choice. My father (Allu Aravind) stressed for the first time in his lifetime about MEB release. He can release the film on ‘Aha’ if he wants. But even with the financial ‘stress’, it was released in theatres so that people would come to the theatres.”
Speaking about Pooja Hegde, the DJ actor said, “I thought Hegde is very special for me alone as she has turned into my lucky charm. But she has disproved me by giving hits with every single hero she’s working with.”
“The journey of the Akkineni and Allu families has been going on for 65 years. I made films with Nagarjuna. I hope this journey will continue for another two generations. This is a movie that people who want to get married should watch. Bhaskar wrote such a good story. It is a film that has created a good understanding of marriage,” said Allu Aravind.
