However, this trend has largely faded in recent years, with only Prabhas continuing to follow this model. Now, it appears that Allu Arjun is looking to revive this strategy by working on two films simultaneously—one with Atlee and the other with Trivikram Srinivas.
Reports suggest that Allu Arjun is keen on launching Atlee’s film first, primarily because of the director’s ability to wrap up production at a rapid pace. This would allow Bunny to streamline his other commitments and work on multiple films at the same time. As part of this plan, Arjun has informed Trivikram to take the next six months to fine-tune the script and set up production before his film goes on floors. Once Atlee’s project gains momentum, Allu Arjun plans to commence Trivikram’s film simultaneously.
Managing two high-profile films at once is no small feat, especially in the current Tollywood landscape where actors are prioritizing one project at a time. However, given that Allu Arjun has already dedicated five years to the Pushpa franchise, he now seems determined to maximize his workflow and complete multiple projects without long gaps.
It is reported that Trivikram is on board with this plan and has agreed to wait for six months, as Allu Arjun has assured him that the project will commence as scheduled. If everything falls into place, Allu Arjun will be the first major Telugu star in recent times to take on this dual-production approach, marking a significant shift in how big-budget Tollywood films are planned and executed.
