Renowned film producer Allu Aravind and his family are expanding their footprint in the entertainment industry with an ambitious new venture—Allu Cinemas, a premium movie theatre complex currently under development in Kokapet, Hyderabad. Strategically located near the Outer Ring Road (ORR), the upcoming multiplex is poised to transform the cinema landscape of the region.
The Allu family already owns substantial real estate in Kokapet, which includes Allu Studios, a cutting-edge film production facility that has been operational for over two years. Building on the momentum of that success, they are now channeling their vision into creating a world-class cinema destination.
Construction of Allu Cinemas is progressing rapidly, with the launch targeted for Sankranthi 2026. This state-of-the-art facility is expected to fill a critical void, as Kokapet and its surrounding areas, including Gandipet, currently lack dedicated multiplexes. At present, local residents must travel to Gachibowli to access theatres such as AMB Cinemas and PVR. Allu Cinemas will offer a more accessible and luxurious option much closer to home.
With the Allu brand enjoying immense goodwill in the Telugu film industry, expectations are high for the new venture. Once operational, Allu Cinemas is expected to emerge as a preferred entertainment hub for residents along the ORR corridor and beyond. The project not only enhances convenience for moviegoers but also strengthens Kokapet’s evolving identity as a lifestyle and entertainment destination.
