For the first time since its designation as Andhra Pradesh’s capital, Amaravati is hosting the state-level Republic Day celebrations. The event is being seen as a significant milestone, both politically and from a policy standpoint.
The celebrations coincide with the announcement of the official Capital Bill for Amaravati, which will legally establish the city as the state’s permanent capital, making the decision binding and irreversible.
AP Governor Shri Abdul Nazeer, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, IT Minister Nara Lokesh, along with other ministers and MLAs, are participating in the grand Republic Day parade.
