Union Urban Development and Parliament Affairs Minister M Venkaiah Naidu informs amendments to Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act would be introduced in the upcoming budget session.
Naidu, however, makes it clear Amendments would be zeroed only after consensus with Governments of AP and Telangana. He adds, Centre will take the initiative to make the Telugu States agree to the amendments.
The Union MInister ruled out any chances of inviting TRS to join NDA Government any time soon. “BJP and TRS were two different parties,” he comments.
On according Special Category Status to AP, Venkaiah Naidu says Centre is still working on the issue and it could be delayed due to few hurdles.
