BJP is acting very strange when it comes to the South India, this is what everyone are feeling. Somehow the party seems to be totally disconnected with ground realities in South and particularly the Telugu States. BJP’s recent campaigns in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana is an indicator to this effect!
Amit Shah had announced that Modi-led NDA has helped AP to the tune of 1.6 Lakh Crore and Telangana to the extent of 90000 Crore. Probably Amit Shah is looking at Telugu People from the same prism following their fight in New Delhi’s power corridors during the bifurcation.
But many feel that the BJP President should realize the fact that even though Telugu people fight amongst themselves, they are known for their good knowledge in Maths and politics and are seeing very openly what the center is doing to them. This is a big blunder by BJP.
They know well that the BJP cannot peddle its series of lies easily because the people here will easily figure out. Instead the saffron party should show its commitment to help Telugu states and then win people’s mandate here. Winning the people of Telugu States with half baked truths will only backfire!
