Recently two Covid 19 patients assaulted the doctors at the Gandhi Hospital following the death of their relative in the same hospital. This is an inhuman act.
The police couldn’t intervene as they didn’t have a protective gear. When the Nation is going through a health emergency, it is sad and unfortunate that the doctors and paramedics who are risking their lives are being treated in such manner.
This should not be taken lightly and the people who committed the offence should be taken to task and an FIR filed. A small amendment has to be made in the Representation Of The People’s Act.
Those who are attacking the health workers, doctors, nurses on duty shall be debarred from voting for twenty years. They should be ineligible for any schemes and benefits like ration etc, and prohibited from getting loans from any bank.
