TDP’s top brass is chalking out a new plan to revive the party in the Telangana state. If inside sources are anything to go by, Chandrababu Naidu is mulling over appointing political in-charges for the party’s Telangana unit. A la Congress which appoints in-charges from other states to the party’s regional units, Naidu too contemplating to appoint in-charges from Andhra Pradesh to Telangana.
Senior TDP leaders from AP who might miss the opportunity to be inducted into the cabinet would be selected as the party in-charge for Telangana.The in-charges would be asked to monitor the prevailing conditions and steps to be taken to strengthen the party. They’d be act as bridge between the party leaders in Telangana to party supremo Chandrababu.
Given that Naidu is busy with the administration and admist reports that Lokesh would be inducted into Cabinet, Naidu wants someone trust-worthy to look after the party. It’s said to be trail method where Naidu wants to see how it works.Telangana TDP leaders are also hopeful that it’s better late than never and hoping that TDP would bounce back.
