The ongoing budget assembly sessions in Andhra Pradesh have made history with the numbers presented by Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav today. For the first time, the state’s budget has crossed the ₹3 lakh crore mark, setting a new milestone.
The full budget for the financial year has an outlay of ₹3.22 lakh crore—the highest ever in Andhra Pradesh’s history. Key sectors such as Agriculture and SC/ST housing have received the largest share of allocations.
Additionally, the government has allocated significant funds for BC welfare and the upscaling of Panchayat Raj departments. With the NDA government focusing extensively on its Super Six programs and large-scale development projects, this record-breaking budget was necessary to support its ambitious plans.
It is clear that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is prioritizing development and public policy initiatives, making bold moves to drive Andhra Pradesh’s growth in this term.
